Ikki Hyoudou is main protagonist of Highschool DxD: NeXT as well as a descendant of the Gremory clan. Ever since his father, Issei Hyoudou, became Harem king, Ikki had been resentful towards him for never having enough time for him and his family, causing him to act out indignantly. Ikki eventually comes to respect his father and his role as Harem king, but nonetheless vows to go down a different path than Issei and become a Great Satan like Sirzechs instead.
