Synopsis
  • Nathaniel reluctantly transmit his report on his surveillance on the JLI to General Eiling. He then gets a call from his son Randy, who is calling to tell his father that he is being transferred from Project Majestic. The relationship between father and son is still rocky, especially over Nathaniel's decision to leave the Air Force. Also, Nathaniel still has trouble finding a job no thanks to Eiling tarnishing his service record. Meanwhile, Tom Emery has been commuted and is forced to work for Eiling; in which he has been supplying his hologram technology to Eiling's people and were used for the UFO deception that introduced Major Force. Eiling decide to extend Emery's employment given that his hologram was almost uncovered by Randy, whom Eiling had him deliberately reassigned. Furthermore, with Major Force's bad publicity, Eiling want to have Emery resuming his Doctor Spectro identity and participate in a staged fight with Major Force in order for the latter to be redeem in the eyes of the public. Emery very reluctantly agrees to Eiling's plan under the threat of death via Major Force. Two days later, Emery and Major Force begin their mock battle in which it is caught on television, as arranged by Eiling. Nathaniel caught notice of this deception and intervene to prevent the battle from escalating. Emery then choose to flee and heading outside of the city. Captain Atom and Major Force chase after him until Emery's flyer lose its stabilizer and causing him to land in a forest. But since they are out in the wilderness and no one is watching, Major Force choose this opportunity to attack Captain Atom. Emery wholeheartedly agrees with Major Force's plan and blind Nathaniel. Major Force proceed to brutally beat up Nathaniel. After Major Force finally finish his beating which rendered Nathaniel unconscious, he then leaves with Emery from the scene while they plan on explaining Doctor Spectro's "capture" to the police.
