The Burnaby Express were a team of the British Columbia Hockey League. Founded in 2001 as the Coquitlam Express, the team moved to Burnaby in 2004. The 2005-06 season was very successful for the Express, as they won their league, the Mowat Cup, the Doyle Cup and the Royal Bank Cup. They are coached by former NHLer Rick Lanz, and have another former NHLer as GM, Darcy Rota. The team moved back to Coquitlam for the 2010-11 season.
