The Asia-Pacific Development Information Programme (APDIP) is a regional programme of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) based in Bangkok and Colombo working to promote information and communications technology (ICT) for development in the Asia-Pacific region. Together with UNDP country offices, government agencies and other key partners in ICT for development, APDIP works in three core areas (i) policy development and dialogue; (ii) access; and (iii) content development and knowledge management, by employing a dynamic mix of strategies — awareness raising, capacity building, technical assistance and advice, research and development, knowledge sharing and partnership building.
