The Duros Resistance was created almost immediately after the Battle of Duro in the Clone Wars. The battle saw the Confederacy of Independent Systems take control of Duro and the Kaleesh Suleym naj Bi'Skar left to command the garrison. Over a period of six months, the Duros Resistance attempted to wage a guerrilla war against the Separatist occupiers, backed by the Galactic Republic. However, their efforts ultimately ended in failure, as Bi'Skar was able to hunt down every member of the Council of Leadership and kill them, before assaulting the Resistance's secret headquarters and slaughtering almost every member.
