Glen Irwin (born March 1, 1951 in Edmonton, Alberta) is a retired Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. He played in 233 WHA games with the Houston Aeros and Indianapolis Racers over parts of five seasons. He played junior hockey for the St. Catharines Black Hawks and the Estevan Bruins from 1969 to 1971. THe Philadelphia Flyers chose him 36th overall in the 1971 NHL Amateur Draft. Irwin played in the Flyers' minor pro system until 1973. That year he was traded to the St. Louis Blues but spent the 1973-74 season with the Blues' farm team the Fort Worth Wings.
