The Heart Shard is a special item only gotten from polishing a piece of RegMat. It looks like a small heart-shaped crystal (very small). It can be used to make a tower instantly regain 10% of its Max HP and make it regen 0.5% every second for 10 seconds. Only 1 shard can be applied per round per tower, and it has a 15% chance of doing the exact opposite (it can only get the tower down to 1 HP though).
