Sonic the Hedgehog is the main protagonist of the 1993 series Sonic The Hedgehog, nicknamed SatAM by fans because of it being a Saturday morning cartoon. This particular version of Sonic was later used in the Archie Comic Series. Like his video game counterpart, Sonic battles the evil Dr. Robotnik, except this time his arch-enemy has taken over Mobius, enslaved the people and turned most of them including his Uncle Chuck into robotic slaves furthering his hatred for the evil scientist. Sonic vows to save his uncle and turn him back to normal as well as put right what Robotnik has done.
