On June 15, 2015, a powerful supercell moved over the California, Nevada, Arizonia, and Utah border. Then on the 16, it began to spawn the start of a historic tornado outbreak. It cycled through many small tornadoes, one of which was a EF3 tornado that struck Blythe CA and killed 8 people. Then at 3:17P.M., a massive tornado touched down near Mexicali. It moved toward El Cajon and Santee. At 3:27P.M., it slammed into El Cajon as a 3 mile 350MPH EF6. It tore through the center of town. Next, it hit Santee. There it decimated a YMCA, a Wal-mart, a trolley station, and a Target. It finally died out at 4:37. It had killed 18'921 people and caused $282billion dollars in damage.
