Like it says shortly after their snip at each other: Mara is being touchy on the subject of Luke's captivity, and Karrde simply wants to know what it is that is making her so ready to screw Luke over. And since Mara is being defensive, she's suggesting things that go against Karrde's personal code of honor when it comes to dealing with his organization and those that do good for it, which Han and Lando have done, thus endearing them to Karrde, and thus making him consider the implications of shacking them up with Luke held captive so close by.
