Wilmington in February 2014 and which saw terrorist Benham Parsa trigger a hostage crisis by faking an illness before breaking free of his bonds, stealing a weapon and killing two Navy guards before locking himself into a room with NSA analyst Eleanor Bishop. The crisis came to an end when Navy personnel managed to get the door unlocked, giving NCIS Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs an opportunity to rush into the room and shoot Parsa dead before Parsa could carry out his suicide mission and kill Bishop in the process although Parsa managed to kill two Navy personnel assigned to guard him seconds before the hostage crisis began.
