During the World Series of Poker of 2006, he said that the red squiggly underline marking misspelled words in Microsoft Word was his idea. His recent exploits on the World Poker Tour can be seen at his blog. As of 2006, his total live tournament winnings exceed $180,000. Richard is a Full Tilt Poker pro and he plays under the screenname "Quiet Lion". He appeared on NBC's game show Identity in 2007. In May 2007, Harrah's banned Brodie from the company's casinos in Nevada, California, and Arizona. He was also barred from the World Series of Poker. According to Brodie's blog, on June 8 Harrah's executives relented and said that the ban was a mistake.
