DHAKSHINA CLUSTER SERIES -I Dhakshina is an indigenously created cluster computer at FEDERAL INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY(FISAT) in Angamaly,Kerala. It was a project to build the cluster computer as a part of the Centre for High Performance Computing(CHPC) at FISAT The cluster series was built with off the shelf components and has 40 computational nodes(all featuring P4 with HT) and two IBM x-series servers which form the backbone of the whole system.All the computers are networked using Gigabit Ethernet Lines with HP Procurve Switches.
