Wade Klippenstein (b. May 5 1970 in Boissevain, Manitoba, Canada) is a former left winger who had a brief professional career in the American Hockey League, ECHL and WCHL. Klippenstein was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques late in the 1990 NHL Entry Draft before playing three seasons with the Alaska-Fairbanks Nanooks of the Central Collegiate Hockey Association. While he failed to crack the Nordiques' roster after he graduated, he did however play 27 games with the Cornwall Aces of the AHL, Quebec's farm team, in 1993-94. He also played for the Greensboro Monarchs and the Dayton Bombers of the ECHL, as well as for the Alaska Gold Kings of the WCHL. His pro career was however short-lived, and in 1996, Klippenstein retired as a player.
