Yavin Girith was a fig native to tropical ocean shores, despised as a dangerous pest by farmers. Yavin girith fruit looked, smelled, and tasted like that of the sweet fig, but its clear golden juice contained a nerve poison which caused mild coma and memory loss; at minimum, it caused dizziness.
