| - The practitioners of the philosophy of Evil are, you guessed it, villains! Villains believe that they have some kind of justifiable ownership over the whole universe. They follow the Codes of Evil, a series of both historical pieces and a sort of manuals written by the greatest villains of the past. There are two kinds of Evil, the kind followed by an entire empire, and the kind followed by one person, usually a leader of some sort. The two branches are called the Dark Empires, and the Masters of Corruption.
- Evil is the opposite of good. Satan is the ultimate evil being. A theological or philosophical attempt to answer the problem of evil is known as theodicy.
- Evil can refer to a lot of things. When used as a proper noun, it can mean either of the following:
* The Evil - A powerful force in the Deadite universe.
* Evil, Inc. - Faction of evil Junkions.
- Evil characters enjoy causing harm and pain. They are entirely ruthless and prepared to kill even their friends and comrades if they stand to gain by doing so. Law and order mean nothing to them, unless they can use them to dominate others. Evil characters are often bitter, quick-tempered, and resentful of others.
* Avarice and materialism
* Crime and immorality
* Self-glorification
* Violence
* Anything that gets in their way
* Law, society, etc.
* Sociable behaviour
- Evil is a mission in Grand Theft Auto V. This mission is the second meeting between Michael De Santa and Isiah Friedlander.
- Evil is a Friends Fanfiction. Rachel and her friends go to an cabin in the woods. When Monica is bitten by a man, they relize that there is a zombie outbreak going on. When Monica turns, the friends hide and start to turn against each other.
- Evil (Swedish: Ondskan) is a 2003 Swedish drama film directed by Mikael Håfström, based on Jan Guillou's semi-autobiographical novel with the same name from 1981, and starring Andreas Wilson, Henrik Lundström and Gustaf Skarsgård. The film is set in a private boarding school in the 1950s with institutional violence as its theme.

- Evil is characterized by selfishness of purpose. It maintains that it is both important and correct that those who are worthy should succeed, while the weak and unworthy perish. The efforts of good to distribute wealth generally are viewed as cheating the truly deserving. Evil characters do not regard other characters--not even other evil characters--as worthy of respect. They are always willing to take advantage of another's misfortune. Any generous act, either by giving away treasure or by taking risks on behalf of another, must be justified by some advantage to the character taking the action. Evil characters often believe that good and neutral characters are pretending they are not evil in order to fool others and gain an advantage.

Others look at money itself as "the root of all evil," expressing the sentiments of the Apostle Paul.

- Evil was the main villain in Bonus Stage, up to the point in Evil's New Groove, where he was revealed to be Elly in disguise. His/her first appearance is in the opening credits in E Quest, of the High Score episodes. Then, he appeared as a villain in Superphil, the fourth HS episode. Despite his oafishness, comical behavior, minor incompetence, and slightly less-than-evil attitude, Evil is a formidable villain who often gives Phil and Joel a hard time.
