In Greek Mythology, Kephéus (Κηφεύς) was the son of Aleus and Neaera or Kleobule, and brother of Amphidamas, Lykurgus of Arkadia, Auge and Alkidike . He and his brother Amphidamas are counted among the Argonauts. The city of Kaphyae was believed to have received its name from Kepheus. Kepheus was said to be the founder of the town of Kyrenia in Kyprus.
