The Bariosians come from the planet Barios II. They are humanoid beings who have similar characteristics to humans. They do have a cranial ridge that runs from their nose to the back of their head dividing their skull in half. This ridge is usually smooth, but a recessive gene causes slight smooth ridges. Most of the species' skin is light brown, but variations can occur that give a darker brown skin tone. Though mammalian, Bariosians have little to no hair as an adult. They are born with more hair but lose it as they reach adolescence.

They tend to be calm and quiet people who do not like getting into trouble or risking anything. As long as they are able to peacefully tend to their herd or crops, they are happy and content. As result, few Bariosians join the military.
