Up to eight ships under 200 meters can squeeze into this bay, five ships under 400 meters, or two ships under 600 meters. The vessel was specifically designed to transport large numbers of vulnerable transports without having to surround them with escorts. Another tactic which has sprung up is for the ship to 'trap' itself in a gravity well and be attacked by a numerically superior force, only to deploy the warships that it was hiding in its belly and unleash them on the suddenly outgunned attackers. As with all MMA-produced combat vessels, the ship features the innovative harjel repair system, a set of backup shields rated at one-third the power of the ship's standard shields, and the new PDS in addition to the ship's standard weaponry and defenses.
