__NOWYSIWYG__ The MoS states that characters that are known by their species' name should be capitalized. This is exactly what the MoS says under the "flora and fauna" section. Flora and fauna should be in lower case e.g. flying bison. If this were the case, the pages would have to be renamed and links and sentences that use the characters' name, but that can be done by bot. Regardless of the fact that we don't apply it (not even with the lion turtle that's the case example), I feel like it would send the wrong message. We've moved years ago to use sentence case, only ever capitalizing names when they're proper name, the actual name of the subject at hand. If we were to start capitalizing certain fauna/spirit characters now just because we know them by their generic name due to lack of an actual name, I feel like we're sending the message that the capitalized name is their actual name when it's not. It would be like saying that a certain character is named Bob just because we don't know it's proper name, but everyone does know whom we're referring to when saying "Bob". 18:54, August 18, 2017 (UTC) I agree.
