The unnamed Paperboy worked for The Kabin and one evening enquired of Mavis Riley why the order for 17 Rosamund Street wasn't included in his bag. Mavis told him the lady customer was still in hospital. Curly Watts was in the shop at the time and mentioned that he used to have a paper round up until taking his 'O' levels. Mavis used this as an example for future progression of clever people but the lad wasn't impressed when Curly admitted that his current employment was on the bins.
