- When Roger Wilco was trapped aboard the Arcada during the Sarien invasion during Space Quest I, he discovered a keycard on the body of Jerry (on Andy in the original game timeline), one of the dead crewmembers. He used the keycard in order to access the Flight Prep Room.
- A keycard is a device used by the Simpsons to gain access to The Creator's Mansion so that they can get their creator to stop torturing them by putting them into awful second-rate videogames.
