  • When Roger Wilco was trapped aboard the Arcada during the Sarien invasion during Space Quest I, he discovered a keycard on the body of Jerry (on Andy in the original game timeline), one of the dead crewmembers. He used the keycard in order to access the Flight Prep Room.
  • A keycard is a device used by the Simpsons to gain access to The Creator's Mansion so that they can get their creator to stop torturing them by putting them into awful second-rate videogames. Each of the keycards are found in the four videogame worlds that exist in the Game Engine: Medal of Homer, Grand Theft Scratchy, NeverQuest, and Big Super Happy Fun Fun Game. The Comic Book Guy humorously berates the player by saying that a keycard is basically a key.
  • Keycards are found in many of the game's missions, they can open doors that have lock bits that correspond with their own. Several missions have multiple keycards that open different doors. Keycards are usually given a unique name with a rename object.
  • Keycard is an item in Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts, Hitman: Blood Money and Hitman: Absolution. They are sometimes known by other names.
  • Keycards were devices which could be used to access certain secret rooms. An example was the secret door to the High Impact Games Treehouse which was to unlock the Chalice of Power.
  • A keycard is a plastic card which stores a digital signature that is used with electronic access control locks. It is normally a flat, rectangular piece of plastic and may also serve as an ID card. The keycard is used by presenting it to a card reader; swiping or inserting of magnetic stripe cards, or in the case of RFID cards, merely being brought into close proximity to a sensor.
