  • Togo Igawa (伊川 東吾, Igawa Togo), born in Tokyo on 26 September 1946, is a Japanese actor who works primarily in British films and television. He was one of the voice actors who worked on Robotboy. He was the voice of the world-renowned scientist Professor Moshimo in the series. He played the role 29 times in the entire series. Igawa lives in England with his wife Adrienne Baba. He became the first Japanese member of The Royal Shakespeare Company in 1986. Before 1984 Eiji Kusuhara enjoyed something of a monopoly on roles of British-Japanese characters until he starred alongside Togo Igawa in the movie The man who shot Christmas. After this movie, Igawa also became a much sought British-Japanse actor. The two actors worked a lot together on the same projects. Robotboy was the last project they shared. Igawa as professor Moshimo and Kusuhara as his archenemy Dr. Kamikazi.
