Redding's Recommendation was a type of load out that was available to the player in the campaign of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. The load out was a series of recommended SC-20K M.A.W.S. attachments along with lethal and non-lethal gadgets recommended by William Redding for specific missions that Splinter Cell agent Sam Fisher was about to start. While the other load outs in Chaos Theory return in the form of playstyles in Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Redding's Recommendation is replaced with the Panther playstyle.

  • Redding's Recommendation was a type of load out that was available to the player in the campaign of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. The load out was a series of recommended SC-20K M.A.W.S. attachments along with lethal and non-lethal gadgets recommended by William Redding for specific missions that Splinter Cell agent Sam Fisher was about to start. The load outs changed depending on the mission, objectives and environment that the player would be working in, providing a balanced combination of equipment compared to the 'Stealth' and 'Assault' load outs. For example, in the mission 'Displace', the player is advised by Third Echelon Director Irving Lambert that they are not to kill anyone - meaning no casualties. While the player is restricted to two load outs, 'Stealth' or Redding's Recommendation, the latter has strictly non-lethal gadgets by differs from the Stealth load out by providing a different setup. While the other load outs in Chaos Theory return in the form of playstyles in Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Redding's Recommendation is replaced with the Panther playstyle.
