Gerry Organ is a former placekicker for the Ottawa Rough Riders from 1971-1983 of the Canadian Football League. Organ was the winner of the CFL's Most Outstanding Canadian Award in 1973 and is a two time CFL All-Star and a two time Grey Cup Champion (1973 and 1976). He also played in the 1981 Grey Cup Game in Montreal He was inducted in the University of Guelph Hall of Fame in 1984. As a member of the Guelph Gryphons, he was named to the All-Canadian team in 1969.
