He was directly involved in the events of the Heartstone Crisis, and played a major part in the destruction of the Archangel Netheriel. Elric was the only son of Rodric and Claya Wybert. He was rumoured to have killed the two prior to his arrival at Khairys, though he never admitted his wrongdoings to any of his companions. Sometime during his travels of debauchery and violence, Elric found himself allied to two notable companions with similar goals, David and Lorawyn. Together, they enacted the rescure of the Seraph Juriel from the Astanién Order, earning Elric the blessing of the Heavens. He continued to serve Juriel after the Lorawyn defected to the enemy. In the closing years of the Common Era, at his request, a spell was cast upon him by Lorawyn cursing him with retrograde amnesia, and he began the start of his self imposed exile. In his old age he later started a relationship with, and married, an unknown man of Vesryn.
