He played minor hockey in his hometown of Preston and played for various Canadian Navy senior teams during World War II. In 1945-46 he turned pro with the Washington Lions. After spending several years in the minor pros, Kaiser's rights weere traded to the Montreal Canadiens in 1950 by the Springfield Indians. He retired in 1954.
