Donald Joseph Vernon Todd (1973-1956) was a Irish politician, statesman and religious figure. He is famous for his role as leader of the Catholic Revolution which overthrew the old Irish Republic and created the new Theocracy of Ireland After he led the Catholic Revolution. He appointed himself as Chairman of the Provisional Government. He led to the establishment of the constitution and after the constitution was enacted he became the Cardinal of Ireland. He continued to serve in the role until his death in 1956.

| - Donald Joseph Vernon Todd (1973-1956) was a Irish politician, statesman and religious figure. He is famous for his role as leader of the Catholic Revolution which overthrew the old Irish Republic and created the new Theocracy of Ireland He grew up in Dublin to a conservative catholic family. His father was the spokesperson for his local parish in the NCC. After he completed his education he went on to Maynooth Seminary to study theology. He earned a doctorate 1905 and was ordained after mission work in 1912. He served as senior parish priest for Dublin Central from 1912-1945 and in 1931 he was appointed as assistant to the Archbishop of Dublin. In 1945 after the death of Conrad Johnson Archbishop of Dublin.Todd was appointed as the Archbishop of Dublin which at the time was the most senior position in the church other then the Archbishop of Armagh. He was popular among older residents due to his conservative methods and was against the ever weakening secular government. He called for the establishment of Ireland as a catholic stronghold and this led to his leadership in the Catholic Revolution. After he led the Catholic Revolution. He appointed himself as Chairman of the Provisional Government. He led to the establishment of the constitution and after the constitution was enacted he became the Cardinal of Ireland. He continued to serve in the role until his death in 1956.
