Hammerhead was a Rulon underling of Krulos, who resembled a blue, anthropomorphic hammerhead shark. Hammerhead led the Sharkurs and was one of the more efficient of the Rulon generals. He and Rasp (the leader of the Vipers had a deep rivalry over who would gain Krulos' favor. One of Hammerhead's schemes involved capturing the worlds largest Pteranodon and building a strong airforce to destroy the Dino Riders from the air. The plan was foiled.
