Yanni amused me when playing 1-4, when he was acting all senile (and he is the REASON for the aforementioned cross-examination of Polly, so...) and being all "Keith!" to Phoenix. But then when you see him as the serious old man who'd been pretending to be insane for fifteen years and basically had his life ruined by DL-6 just as much as Edgeworth had? It really made him a lot more sympathetic, even if he was the man who killed Robert Hammond. Hammond had it coming.

- Yanni Yogi was a bailiff at the District Court, perhaps best known as the prime suspect in the DL-6 Incident. Fifteen years after his trial, he appeared as an apparently senile old witness for the trial of Miles Edgeworth for the murder of his old defense attorney, Robert Hammond.
- In diesem Fall wurde erstmals ein spirituelles Medium zu Rate gezogen. Das Medium Misty Fey konnte Kontakt mit Gregorys Geist aufnehmen; dieser nannte Yogis Namen. Daraufhin stand Yogi vor Gericht, verteidigt von Robert Hammond. Hammond hatte ihm zuvor aufgetragen, sih geistesgestört zu verstellen, damit man ihn für unzurechnungsfähig hält. Dadurch wurde Yogi freigesprochen. Allerdings verlor erseinen sozialen Status und seinen Job als Gerichtsdiener, weswegen er später als Bootsverleiher am Gourdsee arbeitet. Wegen der Umstände des Urteils begng auch seine Verlobte Polly Jenkins Selbstmord. In Gedenken an ihr hielt sich Yogi später einen Papagei namens Polly.
