The Kootenai Colts were a USA Hockey-sanctioned ice hockey team from Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. They played in the Northern Pacific Hockey League at the KYRO Arena from 2001 to 2005. The team was renamed the Coeur d'Alene Colts for the 2005-06 season and then moved to Cody, Wyoming for the 2006-07 season where they were renamed the Yellowstone Quake. The Quake would join the American West Hockey League in 2012 and then were absorbed into the North American 3 Hockey League when the leagues merged prior to the 2014-15 season
