Basmat Tab'un (Arabic: بسمة طبعون; Hebrew: בַּסְמֶת טַבְּעוּן) is a Bedouin local council in the North District of Israel. It was declared as a local council in 1965. According to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) it had a population of 6,300 in 2006, with a growth rate of 3.3%. The majority of the citizens of Basmat Tab'un are Bedouin Muslims.
