Maurice James Noble (May 1, 1911 - May 18, 2001) was an American background artist, director, and layout designer whose contributions to the animation industry spanned more than 60 years. He is best known for his work with Chuck Jones for Looney Tunes, particularly on the Road Runner series.

His work contributed to such cartoon classics as Duck Dodgers in the 24½th Century, What's Opera, Doc?, and the Road Runner series.
- Maurice Noble (May 1, 1911 - May 18, 2001) was a writer for Tiny Toon Adventures and also worked on the original Looney Tunes, working under the Chuck Jones unit. Years later, in 1990, at the age of 79, he returned to Warner Bros. to work on Tiny Toon Adventures, heavily influenced by the shorts he had worked on decades before. He would contribute writing material and the designs for "Duck Dodgers Jr.." Noble would pass away on May 18, 2001 at the age of 90.
