James Lloyd "Dede" Klein (January 13, 1910 – December 9, 1966) was a professional ice hockey right wing who played 169 games in the National Hockey League. Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, he played with the New York Americans and Boston Bruins. He played on a Stanley Cup championship team with the Bruins in 1929. Late in the 1932-33 season he was traded to the New York Americans. Over the next four seasons he saw some service with the Americans. He played until 1948 in the minor pros, mostly in the American Hockey League
