A lifelong Bat-fan, Leahy is arguably the most eminent personage to lend his voice to the DCAU, and also has small cameo appearances in the films Batman and Robin, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises. All royalties and fees from his film and television appearances are donated to charities and the Kellogg-Hubbard library in Vermont where he read comic books as a child
