The Order of the Five Weapons was a ronin shugenja order who dedicated their studies to warfare. It was created by Ekuro, one of the greatest warriors of his age, after he alone defeated a Mirumoto army who had attacked the Lion village of Houko. He taught Shugenja from across the Empire how to create and wield the Elemental weapons, such as the Katana of Fire, the Bo of Water, the Tetsubo of Earth, and the Yari of Air.
