Sergeant (or simply Sarge), is the gung-ho commander of the Green Army Men, Andy's miniature plastic soldiers in the Toy Story series. He is loyal to Woody, and under his orders, sends his troops on different missions, most commonly reconnaissance. Sarge is made holding a pistol and binoculars, which he uses when scouting out an area for humans, or getting a closer look at presents. Sarge, voiced by R. Lee Ermey, is based upon his character of Gunnery Sergeant Hartman from Full Metal Jacket.

- Woody talks to Sarge about finding his pal Slinky. Sarge says that he hasn't found him. He rallies the other soldiers to prepare for Andy's birthday. Later, he helps an injured soldier (stepped by Mrs. Davis) who can't get up. Sarge's voice is also heard on the Playskool radio. Rex impatiently knocks it over. The next day, Sarge gets angry thinking Woody knocked over Buzz Lightyear. One minute later, Sarge and his men attack Woody with the other toys. Sarge tells the toys to retreat after Andy goes into his room. When Andy moved to a new home, Sarge gave another announcement of Andy opening his new presents.
- Sarge, (also known as Army Sarge and Sergeant), is a minor character in the Toy Story franchise and the gung-ho commander of an army of plastic toy soldiers from Bucket 'O' Soldiers, voiced by R. Lee Ermey, and loosely based on Ermey's role as Gunnery Sergeant Hartman in Full Metal Jacket.
