During his thirty-year career as a make-up artist, Dawn worked mostly on television projects, including series such as Thriller, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Wagon Train and Mission: Impossible (also filmed at Desilu and later Paramount Pictures). However, he also worked on a few feature films, including Hitchcock's Marnie (1964, featuring Meg Wyllie).
