The Troytown or Caerdroia (also Mizmaze) is a maze-like pattern found in decoration, as turf mazes and used as the basis of a dance or game making use of such turf mazes. Similar to the Cretan Labyrinth, it is ostensibly named for Troy although the Troy-element might mean 'Turning', referring to the twists and turns of the labyrinth. Although not referred to in the core writings of the Yellow Mythos, it is mentioned in the non-mythos story The White People and would fit well with the concept of Carcosa. A mysterious city with a spiral labyrinth associated with Caerdroia is a Carcosa-like location in the non-mythos story Broken Mirror.
