King Xermos II Messoloriha (CC: 27/6/5,064 - CC: 49/9/5,099), called the Strange, the Superior, and crowned Everemperor - Ruler Always & Forever was/is* the 5th Monarch of the Delkish Empire of the House of Messoloriha; he was the son of Queen Settes Messoloriha (the so-called "Mother of Madness"), and the father of King Jenes the Just by Queen Wife Penta Messoloriha (Wall). Xermos grew up a lonely boy, raised more by servants than by his parents. His mother's lover, a mysterious man known very little about, constantly whispered dark things in his ear. He became king at the age of just six, and several incompetent regents served under him. This was a time of war for the Delkish Empire, as it sought to expand its borders ever more. In secret, Xermos harbored a love for magicks, and had his alchemists research sacrificial magicks, golemry, and the creation of homunculi. He hoped to become immortal, and even to become a powerful warlych or psychic. The only sign of this was his appointing of a so-called "Farson of the Delklands" as one of his chief advisors. Even this sparked riots, and talks of sedition by Flotch. This would eventually culminate into the 2nd Cold War. A century after the 1st Xermos’ ascension, Xermos revealed his true nature, seeking to destroy the capital of Parthshore with an army of bestiolara (artificial beasts), and warlyches, crowning himself “the Everemperor - Ruler Always & Forever.” He was mortally wounded by his own son before committing suicide by ingesting blachumor, and destroying his throneroom, leaving behind only the blackened Lycaonthrone. His bestiolara Ymetros was killed by Sir Ross Fourthwalk.
