Dora Entwistle was a lady who lived at 2 Chapel Yard in Weatherfield and died in the first months of 1980. Her solicitors, Rosenfield, Blackburn and Fox wrote to a worried Stan Ogden saying they wanted to see him. When he met them, they gave him a bequest from Mrs Entwistle - £100 and a pot dog, a reward for being so cheerful and whistling when he was cleaning her windows. Annie Walker congratulated the Ogdens when she saw the bequest in the Gazette but Bet Lynch spoiled the occasion when said Dora was to Chapel Yard what Elsie Tanner was to Coronation Street. A suspicious Hilda immediately started to question Stan but he insisted that she had been an old lady.
