Sandie Jones is an Irish singer. She began her career with the release of her first single in 1969 and although follow-up releases failed to sell well, they established her as a top female vocalist. In 1972, she was selected as the country's representative at the Contest in Edinburgh, Scotland with a song performed in Irish, marking the only time until the 2015 Junior Eurovision Song Contest that the country would enter a song in its native language. She continued to have a successful career in her homeland post-Contest but little is known of her activities after 1981.
