In a wiki, an orphan is an isolated article with no links from other pages. Although articles can be found by searching, it's preferable to find them via links from related pages; therefore, it's helpful to "deorphan" a page by adding links from other suitable pages. Ideally, all articles should be accessible through a series of links starting from the main page. (Links from disambiguation and redirection pages don't count. However, a link from one article to another via a redirect page is acceptable.) See also: Special:Lonelypages and Special:Unusedimages
