The Indian village Mawsynram is reportedly the wettest place on Earth, with 39 feets of annual rainfall! However, as there has been no meteorological department office in the area and for all practical and statistical purposes, Mount Wai`ale`ale in Hawai`i can also be called the wettest place in the world. Averaging more than 35 feet of rainfall per year since 1912.
