The Haas VF-16 was a car built and designed by Dallara on behalf of the Haas F1 Team for the 2016 Formula One season. It was unveiled on February 21 2016 and their drivers were Romain Grosjean and Esteban Gutiérrez. From the car name, the "V" stands for vertical. Gene Haas, founder of Haas Automation, added "F1" to the name to unofficially designate it as the company's "Very First One".
