Enid produced her birth certificate to prove that she was 91 and said she would continue working at The Parson's Arms until she dropped dead.

In late August 2014 it was confirmed by Dean Upton, landlord of The Flying Horse, that a team of cricketers from The Parson's Arms had pulled out of an impending fixture. Rovers' landlord Steve McDonald immediately agreed to the match and hastily set about getting his own cricket team together.
