There are two main times when page deletion might seem appropriate. 1. * If a page was created by a vandal or spammer, it can be deleted. 2. * If a page was created with the wrong name, it is considered better to move the page rather than deleting it. Then the misnamed page remains as a redirect to the right page. However, in some cases deletion may be appropriate.
