Anthony "Tony" S Devenish (born March 1968) is a businessman and Conservative Party politician. A self-employed director in a number of infrastructure, property, utilities and outsourcing companies. He twice stood (in 2001 and 2005) as Conservative candidate for the parliamentary seat of Houghton and Washington, near Sunderland in north east England. In a safe Labour Party seat he was nearly 20,000 votes behind the winner on each occasion, finishing in third place behind the Liberal Democrats in 2005.

He twice stood (in 2001 and 2005) as Conservative candidate for the parliamentary seat of Houghton and Washington, near Sunderland in north east England. In a safe Labour Party seat he was nearly 20,000 votes behind the winner on each occasion, finishing in third place behind the Liberal Democrats in 2005. In 2006 he was elected to Westminster City Council as one of three councillors representing Knightsbridge and Belgravia Ward, and was re-elected in 2010 and 2014. He stood for election to the European Parliament in 2009, and was eighth on the Conservative Party list for the South East England European Constituency, and was not elected. At the 2016 London Assembly election he held the West Central Constituency in succession to Kit Malthouse, who had been elected as a member of parliament at the 2015 general election.
