Pandandoleet is a character that appears in Might and Magic: The Dreamwright. She was a member of the Green Moth Society, and taught Hitch how to see through the eyes of the dowchits. After his party was slain by a stonecrush, Hitch wandered around in the wilderness for weeks before finding a small cottage. Fearing that the place was filled with hobs ready to kill anything that entered, he observed the cottage for three days before approaching, but he saw nothing apart from a small gray bird that occasionally rested on the windowsill.

  • Pandandoleet is a character that appears in Might and Magic: The Dreamwright. Driven to courage by cold and hunger, he entered the hut, where he found an old woman on a low pallet in a bedroom at the back. She was sick and near death, and calmly asked him if he could make them both some soup. He stayed with her for a few days, preparing soup and spoon-feeding it to her when she was too sick to do it herself. From time to time, the gray bird would land on the windowsill, and she'd ask Hitch to hold her hand. When the bird flew away, she'd have some sort of fit, her eyes roving in their sockets while she murmured softly to herself. The fit ended when the bird returned. They told each other about their lives, and she told him that when "[her] good Jova" died, she'd decided to "follow the green moth again" - essentially, take a chance and go find out something new. When she felt death approaching, she asked him to drag her remains to the place he'd watched her cottage from, a high place where the wild creatures could get to it easily. The idea of leaving her corpse for scavengers repelled him, but when she passed away later that day, he did as she'd asked. The next morning, the gray bird returned, and suddenly, Hitch could see the world through its eyes and control its movements as it flew around. He explored the area, delighting in the feeling of flying around, when he suddenly discovered a group of dark-clad, evil-looking soldiers approaching the valley. He flew back to the cottage, and when he was back in his own body, he picked up what food he could, his walking stick, and a green wool cloak, before fleeing from the cottage. He was long gone by the time Dubiel's soldiers reached the place. Months later, in the crystal palace, Derbelderhed told Hitch that he'd been a very good friend of Pandandoleet before she moved to that cottage, and that the service Hitch had performed for her had to have been of great value for her to grant him the gift of the dowchits. ""I only stayed with her at the end," he said haltingly. "I only held her hand.""
