Johann Fiedler (28 April 1922 – 23 September 1999) was an Oberscharführer in the Waffen SS during World War II who was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. This was awarded to recognize extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership by Nazi Germany during World War II. Johann Fiedler was born in the Sudetenland at Stangendorf. He volunteered to join the SS and was posted to the 3rd SS Panzer Division Totenkopf. Johann Fiedler now a Unterscharführer was awarded the Knight's Cross on 16 June 1944, for actions during the Battle of the Korsun-Cherkassy Pocket.
